Alitza Navarro

Hip Hop, Contemporary​, Improv

Competition Company Choreographer

Currently attending USF as a third year seeking a major in Psychology as well as two minors one in deaf studies, and the other in behavioral health.

Alitza is a local dancer from Tampa, Fl and started dancing at the age of 4. Has been in performances for 15 years and did competition team for 12 years. Alitza is a Centerstage Dance Academy Alumni where she also taught as a substitute dance teacher for four years in styles such as, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and more!

Students that put passion and intent behind their movements 

Favorite Way to Learn:
Exploring through the body and challenging myself to the max of my abilities

Favorite Style of Dance:
Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Improv!

Favorite music: Everything! 

Goals:
To teach students how to move their bodies in infinite types of ways, shapes, and forms. To educate dancers on how express their emotions through the beautiful artform of dance. As well as, empower students to be themselves and encourage them to push themselves to their limit so they can keep growing as artists and human beings.
