Studio Procedures

We are doing our best to keep your children safe. Please see information below for protocols and procedures in place for our staff and families joining us in studio.

*If your child is quarantined at school, please email us to let us know their return date and so that we an set you with your zoom class option!*

Studio Sanitation

Studios are cleaned weekly with a deep heat and commercial grade/food safe COVID proven killer cleaning agent washing/vacuum system. Studios are sprayed between classes (or twice a day for camps) with the same cleaning agent. Sanitizing stations are located in 6 parts of the studio. One in each studio, front door, dressing room, and by bathrooms. Studios are marked at 6-7’ staggered blocks for students to have their own safe space but still allow for social interaction with distance.

 

MASKS

Masks are now being mandated by the Pasco County government for all indoor businesses. We understand this can be difficult for children both emotionally and physically and are continuing our best practices to maintain social distancing and proper sanitation regularly though out the day.

As per the Executive Order issued 6/23, items g. and h. indicate that we will be able to allow the children to partake in classes with out a mask. We ask that students and parents wear their masks when entering the studio. We are also trickling our car loop & entry screening procedures (hand sanitizer, shoe storage, temperature checks, and waivers) so that children will be very limited in our lobby and storage/locker-room area, and may remove masks when going into their classroom at a safe social distance. Staff and teachers will be wearing masks in the lobby, halls, and if having any direct interaction with your children. We also have designated teacher blocks to help them maintain their safe distance and health.

QUARANTINE PROCEDURES:
As cases increase, we are not taking lightly the risk of closing down. We have to take tests and quarantines seriously, but we also continue to provide when and how we can for your child.

In line with the school policies:

*If anyone in your home is awaiting a test, please refrain from coming in until test results come back and you follow up with CDC/Health Department and plan accordingly.
*If you have been in contact with anyone that has tested positive, as per the CDC guidelines you must quarantine for 14 days.

*If your child is being quarantined from school, you must follow the same quarantine protocols

*If your child is quarantined, we ask that you please update us with when your child is quarantined and their return date to school. With this information we will provide a zoom link so that your child can still be involved in their classroom. Your information will be kept in confidence and not spoken of, but unfortunately the kids are piecing it together already with school.

*If your child has been tested positive, we must be notified immediately.

*If your child has tested negative, please provide us with a copy of the test upon your return after issued Health Department quarantine.

WE REALIZE ALL OF THIS IS A PAIN. IT IS FOR ALL OF US. BUT OUR PRIMARY CONCERN IS THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN AND THEIR FRIENDS, OUR TEACHERS, AND EXTENDING INTO OUR FAMILIES. WE WANT EVERYONE TO HAVE A HAPPY AND BEAUTIFUL HOLIDAY WITH OUT THE WORRIES OF “THE TIMES” AND KNOW WE CAN DO BETTER BY FOLLOWING PROPER PROTOCOLS. THIS IS NOT FOREVER! <3
