Kate Pagano

Musical Theatre Dance

Kate is originally from Texas where she trained with the Houston Ballet and Houston Performing Arts High School and furthered her education at NYC’s Marymount Manhattan College where she received a BFA in Dance Performance. Since, she has trained and performed all over the world. Credits include Walt Disney World, Celebrity Cruise Lines, Universal Studios, Busch Gardens, the Super Bowl, and various TV shows and films. Kate has performed in over 15 regional theatre productions including Spamalot, White Christmas (Rita), Crazy for You, Swing!, Guys and Dolls, Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (Potiphar’s Wife), and La Cage (Bitelle). She has been a proud member of Actor’s Equity for 6 years, and has served as dance captain in several productions. Kate has roughly 10 years of experience as a competitive judge for multiple regional and national conventions and competitions nationwide, nearly 20 years of teaching and choreographing experience, specializing in areas such as musical theatre, lyrical and contemporary, and strengthening and conditioning techniques, and has received numerous overall and choreography awards for her works. She is also a licensed full-time Physical Therapist Assistant at the VA hospital in Tampa, FL, and loves being able to blend her knowledge and experience between her two careers. Kate is thrilled to be back on the dance floor at TDC after welcoming her daughter last year and is looking forward to sharing her passion with all the young artists!
